Marching Orders [13 August 1861] The Anderson Zouaves Col. RIKER has received marching
orders, and the regiment will leave for the seat of war to-morrow. To-day a
handsome stand of colors, the gift of major-Gen. ROBERT ANDERSON, will be
presented to this corps at the camp on Riker’s Island. Boats leave from
Peck-slip at 2 P.M. The
New York Times., August 13th, 1861. |
