NEW
YORK, April 14. – In
commemoration of the raising of the flag at Fort Sumter the veterans of the
Anderson Zouaves Association this morning floated from the pole at the battery
a piece of the original Fort Sumter flag, presented to them Mrs. Maj. Anderson.
Grouped about the staff were Maj. Lawrence, Capt. Morse, Capt. Mosher, and
several other prominent members of the zouaves. The Washington Post, Saturday
