Margaret Larkin is
listed as having served in Company C., 62d NYSV as a “washer”. She
may have been the wife of Patrick Larkins, who served in Companies C and B of
the 62d. Though the surnames are slightly different, contemporary Army records are notorious
for numerous misspellings in muster records and index cards.
